Parish Finance Council

The mission Parish Finance Council 
is to advise and assist the pastor on matters pertaining 
to the business and financial management of the parish.   


Basic functions include:

·         Prepare the parish’s annual budget.

·         Together with the Pastor, submit a complete annual financial report of all parish activities.

·         Review financial reports of the various parish organizations, projects, activities, etc., and assist in offering financial and management advice.  Ensure adequate and practical accountability and audits.

·         Offer the Pastor and the business manager counsel in the significant administrative issues.

·         Offer counsel and monitor all the parish’s investments, savings, special funds, endowments, and wills and bequests.

·         Offer counsel and assist the Pastor in conducting the fund-raising activities needed in the parish so that the work of the Church can be achieved and members of the Church can fully participate with their fair share and stewardship.

PFC members are assisting the Parish Pastoral Council in their responsibility to  formulate and maintain the annual written Parish Pastoral Plan, which includes a mission statement and which prioritized goals and objectives.
